OSCL8 is a conceptual branding project for a social hub where music and art interweave, drawing its pulse-pounding inspiration from the electrifying vibes of Algorave.
The name OSCL8 isn't just a play on words; it vibrantly captures the dynamic exchange of ideas and personalities in the space, all while giving a nod to the essential role of coding in the live performances.
Central to the branding are the vibrant visuals, crafted for one of my live performances using Hydra and MIDI data from Tidal Cycles. These generative visuals offer an endless array of variations. When merged with the logo, they create a unified identity adaptable across diverse platforms, all fuelled by our unwavering devotion to live coding.
