‘Off-Brand’
This sculpture draws inspiration from Tom Sachs, aiming to create three 'genuine fakes' that reflect contemporary consumer culture. The elements—a passport, a book, and a ring—are influenced by Off-White's branding. The bricolage sculptures preserve Off-White's character in an unexpected context where branding is typically absent, echoing Sachs' deconstruction of consumerism's social implications.

Notably, Off-White is known for its distinctive typography and quotation marks, which underscore the reality of a garment. Building on this ironic detachment, this series similarly deconstructs everyday objects to emphasize their social utility, shedding light on matters such as privilege, sexism, and superficiality. It provides commentary on the implicit social agreements that consumers partake in.
