Thorna is an imagined, self-sustaining agrarian commune structured around emotional equilibrium and ritualized kindness. Typeface selected for distinction as part of the Design Practice’s typography course.

The identity is governed by restraint and rules. The logotype is constructed on a grid and informed by classical Roman proportions, emphasizing permanence, structure, and control.

Diagonal forms introduce rhythmic consistency while suppressing individual expression.





Typography and imagery prioritize clarity over personality. A muted, editorial photographic language and an intentionally impersonal typographic system communicate stability through repetition rather than ornament.
